Hudson on Hudson

Welcome to Art on Hudson
Our Mission: To kayak along the Hudson documenting and sharing our stories. To create eco-art from the treasures we discover. To be inspired and awed by the history surrounding the discovery of the Hudson River in 1609 and to understand how generations of people shaped this area and made it their home.

ArtonHudson Charm - Vintage ceramic doll leg with deep blue sea glass shard mounted on white pottery shard

Hand drawn Sturgeon on vintage ceramic handle

Using pottery shards found in the Hudson River, extremely old, the pieces were probably from crocks which held liquor stored on the ships making the Atlantic crossing.

Vintage GLASS buttons all found along the Hudson River shoreline, varying colors, shapes and sizes, these were the best of my collection. The black one at the top of the photo is a"mourning" button.
